http://yhst-13811118617756.stores.yahoo.net/carere1l.html is where I got mine. I just put on my first coat. I did gatorback black a few years back, it has held up fairly well, I now have noticed though when I wash and then dry my truck, the towel has been turning black, the gatorback is rubbing off. So, I wiped it all down, not too much, I still want my cladding to stay black, I sorta have the whole black & tan thing going, I didnt want to go back to the grey it came with. So I hope it seals up nice and keeps the black in, and the shine on. It looks good so far. I didnt expect this stuff to be thin like water, I suggest you do your bed panels first, it gets you used to how bad it wants to run on you. Im hoping to get the other coat on tomorrow, the weather is supposed to get nasty this weekend.

Chad,
were you able to get another coat on? How did it come out and is it keeping the gatorback from rubbing off?

Yea, Im all done with my RR. It looks pretty good. Its a little more shiny than I like, but if it keeps me black then it will be fine. I still havent seen anywhere where somebody had to re apply. How long does this stuff stay on I wonder. It actually dries fairly hard. Unless you scrape it off, I dont know where it would go.

Im sure RR was alot cheaper than repainting it as I did. Looks awesome though, nice result..... just as a comparison, heres my painted panel.

If you want a darker color, paint is definately the way to go. Your cladding looks great...it would be a huge endeavor for me to paint a cladded rig though...your naked one has half the plastic
