I was at work today and the weirdest thing happened, Let me set the scene here.....Devon our service writer uses my Av as the demo car for Flowmaster mufflers since I had mine done there, when a customer inquires about a cat back system his first step is to grab my keys and take the customer to the north end of the lot and fires my truck up, gives her a few revs and and then discusses the possible sale of an exhaust system. Well that took place today but however it didnt end there. After the discussion with the customer regarding the exhaust, the customer walked back in the shop over to where I was and proceeded to talk "Av" to me, well toward the end of the discussion he casually asked if I had ever considered selling.....well just haveing purchased my Av last year and being fairly new to me I wasnt quite ready for the discussion of sale.....until he made hi offer.....he offered me 40 grand just the way it sits, said he could be back in 30 minutes with the cash......holy cow, I was stumped, I was at a loss for words, after hearing that I could have 40 Gs in my grasp, I was mortified thinking I could have a really good Christmas with that.....wow. But then reality set in and I had to turn his gracious offer down. I just wasnt ready at that moment to be un Aved.....
My lord, what a way to start a week off.......besides I think large decisions like that on a Monday morning come to much regret at the end of the week. Just thought Id share that story with ya...... Ken ------------- Whats you AVitude telling you???? |

Wow thats crazy. I think if someone offered me that I would part with mine and would have had a 08 in my driveway that night. But thats me. ------------- Yea, My modifications on my truck are worth more than my truck. |
