Subject: System Upgrade Affecting your MSSQL Database

 

In the next few weeks, we are upgrading all MSSQL databases to version 2008. We are happy to announce that this system upgrade will bring you increased performance, improved security, and add new data types for your use.

 

MSSQL 2008 is upwardly compatible with previous versions of MSSQL, and you will be able to benefit from the newly available features immediately after the upgrade.

 

Your database or database residing on server mssql08.1and1.com will happen on April 22, 2009beginning at 11:30 pm EST  During this upgrade your database can be offline between 3-5 hours.

 

To find out which of your databases are affected by this move, you can check the server name in your 1&1 Control Panel.
Log into your Control Panel at https://admin.1and1.com - https://admin.1and1.com and click on MSSQL Database to access this information.
